Citing unpaid dues, leasing firm Elix writes to DGCA for grounding 3 TrueJet aircraft
The dispute between regional airline TruJet and leasing company Elix over unpaid dues for three ATR72-500 aircraft has further escalated with the airline continuing to fly them despite being served with multiple notices for their grounding. TruJet owes Elix over USD 5 million as dues over a span of 12 months. In September 2020, Elix had served grounding notices to TruJet over the unpaid dues. It has also written a letter to the aviation regulator DGCA in this regard.
