Cloud analytics co ThoughtSpot acquires biz intelligence co Mode Analytics for $200-M
Bengaluru- and Mountain View, California- based ThoughtSpot is to acquire Mode Analytics, a San Francisco- and Kolkata-based business intelligence (BI) platform, in a cash and equity transaction valued at USD 200 million. The deal will help ThoughtSpot extend its presence to Kolkata, with 31 employees from Mode Analytics joining the ranks of the cloud analytics firm in the city. Mode Analytics helps companies with modern data stacks and enables conversion of data into competitive advantage for businesses across sectors and stages.
