IRB Infra Trust to transfer two BOT highway assets for Rs.4,605-Cr

IRB Infrastructure Developers has entered into a binding term sheet to transfer two build-operate-transfer (BOT) highway assets from its sponsored platform, IRB Infrastructure Trust, to the IRB InvIT Fund . The transaction has been valued at an enterprise value of INR 4,605 crore.The assets involved in this transaction are the Solapur-Yedeshi NH211 highway in Maharashtra and the Chittorgarh-Gulabpura NH79 highway in Rajasthan.The transaction is part of a strategy to transition the firm into an operations and maintenance (O&M) platform and a sponsor for infrastructure investment trusts.
