Kotak Mahindra Bank raises $650-M in dollar bonds

Mumbai-based Kotak Mahindra Bank has raised USD 650 million in its debut dollar bond issuance. The transaction attracted significant demand from investors across Asia and Europe, with the order book reaching USD 2.1 Billion. Standard Chartered, HSBC, Citibank, and JP Morgan acted as bankers to the transaction.The bank’s five-year notes were priced at 108 basis points over the benchmark five-year US Treasury, tightening from the initial guidance of 135 basis points.
