Lab-grown diamond brand Limelight raises Rs.275-Cr from Bhathwari Group, others
Mumbai-based Limelight Diamonds has raised INR 275 crore in a funding round led by its core promoters, the Bhathwari Group, with participation from partners in the jewellery industry. The capital was raised through a combination of equity and cash consideration.Founded in 2019 by Pooja Madhavan, the company is a lab-grown diamond jewellery brand specialising in pure CVD lab-grown diamonds.The firm plans to use the new funds to strengthen its vertical integration capabilities, expand manufacturing infrastructure, improve design and innovation, and accelerate its retail footprint across India.
