Lenskart raises nearly $20-M from founder Peyush Bansal, others
Gurugram-based Lenskart founders Peyush Bansal, Neha Bansal, Amit Choudhary and Sumeet Kapahi have invested almost USD 20 million (INR 160 crore) in the omnichannel eyewear retailer.Peyush Bansal led the funding round with an investment of INR 70.70 crore, followed by Neha Bansal with INR 70.39 crore. Choudhary and Kapahi invested INR 9.60 crore and INR 9.35 crore.Founded in 2010, the company has over 2,000 stores in India along with 500 others across Southeast Asia. Lenskart has opened its largest manufacturing facility in Rajasthan.
