New Delhi-based live entertainment discovery and ticketing platform, thumpN , has raised USD 3.75 million (INR 35.7 crore) in a pre-seed funding round. The round saw participation from investors including VSS Investco (the family office of Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma), Paytm CFO Madhur Deora, Hyperlink Brand Solutions founder VG Jairam, and Capitalmind co-founder Shray Chandra. Additionally, singers Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Badshah joined the cap table.The company , founded by former Paytm Insider COO Varun Khare, operates as an AI-native discovery and ticketing service, utilising a conversational AI assistant named "Shadow" to recommend concerts, festivals, comedy shows, and other live experiences based on user preferences. thumpN plans to use the newly raised capital to develop its AI-powered discovery platform and expand its presence across the live entertainment ecosystem.
