Manipal to build and operate hospital in Gurugram for Thakral Group

Manipal Health Enterprises has entered into a long-term lease agreement with Singapore-listed investment firm Thakral Corporation, to develop and operate a multi-specialty hospital in Gurugram. The project will involve the construction, operation, management, and maintenance of the facility on a 3.5-acre land parcel under a 30-year lease.The hospital is expected to feature up to 500 beds in its first phase. Manipal Health Enterprises plans to utilize this flagship facility as an anchor for an integrated health and wellness ecosystem, which will incorporate tertiary care services supported by hospitality and retail offerings.This development is part of the hospital chain's strategy to strengthen its presence in the Delhi-NCR market. The company currently manages 12,600 beds across 49 hospitals nationwide, including three existing facilities within the Delhi-NCR region.
