Online visa application enabler Atlys attracts $12-M from Sequoia, Accel
San Francisco-based online visa application platform Atlys has raised USD 12 million from Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners.The funds will be used to build the team and expand coverage in India and other countries. Atlys has previously raised a seed round from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and angel investors. Founded by Mohak Nahta, Atlys aims to solve visa-related problems relatively quickly. The company claims to have facilitated over 120,000 visa applications, covering over 150 destinations and with an average time of just over 4-10 minutes spent to apply for a visa. Atlys also provides step-by-step guidance throughout the entire process. Atlys' mobile app also helps track appointments, take passport photos at home, and securely store travel documents and information for future use.
