Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal’s AI venture Sentient raises $85-M
Dubai-based Sentient Labs has raised USD 85 million in a seed funding round co-led by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, and Framework Ventures along with participation from Robot Ventures, Delphi, Republic and Arrington Capital.Cofounded by Web3 unicorn Polygon’s Sandeep Nailwal, Pramod Vishwanathan (Forrest G. Hamrick Professor of Engineering at Princeton University) and Himanshu Tyagi (Professor and Scientist at IISc Bangalore), Sentient is built on the Polygon CDK chain and aims to develop an open-source decentralised AI and, eventually, AGI.
