Qatar Group, Cosmea Financial, others form JV for general insurance
Qatar Insurance Group, Sam Ghosh's Cosmea Financial Holdings and a few other investors have formed a company to enter the general insurance sector. The venture has applied to the regulator for the R1 licence, the first needed to set up a general insurance company in the country.
