REC to invest Rs.15,000-Cr in Tripura’s power and renewable energy sectors

REC, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Power, is to provide INR 15,000 crore in financial support to the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) and the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL).Under the signed agreements, INR 10,000 crore will be allocated to TSECL for power sector initiatives.The funding aims to facilitate the implementation of renewable power projects across the state while supporting the expansion and modernisation of the power infrastructure.
