Remsons Inds in JV with Swiss co Aircom Group for tyre mobility kits
Remsons Industries, a maker of cables and shifters for the automotive industry, has formed a joint venture (JV) - Aircom Remsons Automotive Pvt Ltd (ARAPL) - with Aircom Group AG, Switzerland. The JV will manufacture and sell Tyre mobility kits (new-age puncture kits) and its components.ARAPL will eventually focus on launching these products as a B2C product. The product will help to replace spare tyres currently provided with almost all cars. Some of the luxury car OEMs have already done away with spare tyres and have started providing tyre mobility kits for convenience and lesser weight for the vehicle which will improve the mileage.
