US fund TFCC buys 46% equity in Ramcharan Co for $4.14-B: report
US-based deep-impact fund TFCC International is to invest USD 4.14 billion for a 46% stake in Ramcharan Co, a “little known†Chennai-based company which reportedly develops products to process large quantities of unsegregated waste into energy. The funds are expected to be used for investment in environment energy management systems and renewable energy devices with high storage capacity made from sodium silicate. Ram Charan's technology allows for zero toxic residue, and can be used to convert unsegregated waste into energy, with zero residue to the environment.
