‘Friends’ diaper brand maker Nobel Hygiene files papers to raise Rs.150-Cr
Mumbai-based Nobel Hygiene has filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) for an initial public offering to raise fresh capital of INR 150 crore alongside a secondary share sale of 1.55 crore equity shares. The company may consider a pre-IPO placement of INR 30 crore.Established in 2001 by Kamal Kumar Johari, the company manufactures hygiene products in the adult, baby, and feminine segments, including its flagship adult diaper brand ‘Friends’ and baby diaper brand, ‘Teddyy’. The company plans to use the proceeds from the IPO to expand production capacity at its Halol facility and to repay debt.The firm reported a net profit of INR 18.91 crore on an operational revenue of INR 846.75 crore for the financial year 2026. The company has also reduced its total borrowings from INR 368.31 crore to INR 113.41 crore over the same period.
Between Feb 2013 and May 2025, Nobel Hygiene had attracted about USD 140-M from Quadria, Sixth Sense Ventures, and NEO Alternative Asset Managers.
