3D visualisation enabler for car makers Eccentric raises $5-M led by Exfinity, Arkam Ventures
Mumbai-based 3D visualisation startup Eccentric (formerly Eccentric Engine) has raised USD 5 million (around INR 43.26 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Exfinity Venture Partners and Arkam Ventures.The new funds will be used to develop its proprietary One3D platform and expand global footprint.Founded in 2012 by Gaurav Rane and Varun Shah, Eccentric offers real-time 3D rendering for automotive retail. It claims to serve as a visualisation partner for automakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, Hyundai and Stellantis. Besides India, the firm has operations in South Africa, Japan, Korea, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia.
