3one4 Capital floats $15-M fund to back under-represented founders

Bengaluru-based venture capital firm 3one4 Capital has launched a new USD 15 million (INR 141 crore) fund, titled the IIDEA Fund, in partnership with British International Investment (BII). BII serves as the sole limited partner for this fund.The fund targets sectors including energy transition, agriculture, health, deeptech, and manufacturing. The fund also prioritises investments in women-led ventures and startups founded by entrepreneurs based in non-metro cities. The firm plans to support 10 to 15 companies with an initial ticket size of USD 0.5-M each, while reserving the remaining capital for follow-on investments. The firm has completed nearly five investments through this fund.To date, 3one4 Capital has backed over 100 companies and recorded 26 profitable exits from its first two funds. Its existing portfolio includes companies such as Licious, Jupiter, Darwinbox, and Eka Care.
