8i Ventures sets up second leg of pre-seed funding program ‘Origami’ with $10-M

Venture capital firm 8i Ventures has launched the second edition of its pre-seed funding programme ‘ Origami ’, to support early-stage companies. The firm has allocated USD 10 million (INR 84.49 crore) from its second fund for this initiative. The fund would be sector-agnostic with core focus on technology and consumer segments.The first edition, launched in March had invested INR 50.69 crore across three startups - Cautio, Cobalt and one startup that remains in stealth mode.
