ABD invests Rs.70-Cr to form new co. to house premium brands with actor Ranveer Singh as minority ow
Kishore Chabbria-promoted Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABD) is shifting its premium brands to a new company, ABD Maestro, in which it will invest INR 70 crore to acquire an 80% stake.Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will have the remaining stake through Oh Five Oh Talent and will also be the company's creative partner. Bikram Basu, ABD's chief operating officer, will head the new entity as its managing director.ABD Maestro will focus on premium and international brands, leveraging ABD's sales and manufacturing networks.
