Accel expands pre-seed program with 2 new tracks: Accel Atoms AI, Atoms X

Global venture capital firm Accel has launched two tracks - Accel Atoms AI and Accel Atoms X , as an expansion of its pre-seed scaling program for Indian and Indian-origin founders.Led by top Accel India executives Prayank Swaroop, Anand Daniel, and Anagh Prasad, The Accel Atoms AI program supports the businesses that use artificial intelligence (AI) for business applications or build foundational tools in the AI ecosystem. Selected startups in this program will receive up to USD 1 million in funding and benefit from Accel’s network partners, and personalised mentorship.Led by Pratik Agarwal, Accel Atoms X which focuses on “LeapTech” innovations that radically improve the human experience through novel products, technologies, or business models. The startups selected under this track can receive funding up to USD 1 million in equity or convertible notes, and access a network of technologists and R&D experts.Since its launch in 2021, Accel Atoms has backed over 40 early-stage startups across sectors. In January this year, Accel raised USD 650 million early-stage fund dedicated to supporting founders in India and Southeast Asia.
