Private equity firm Actis Llp has shown interest in acquiring US-based Global Infrastructure Partners' (GIP) Indian clean energy platform Vector Green Energy. The potential deal is expected to have an equity value of around USD 300 million. GIP is an infrastructure-focused global PE player and has 700 MW of wind and solar energy assets under Vector Green Energy, most of which it had acquired from IDFC Alternatives in 2018. Vector Green had also acquired 306 MW of solar projects from RattanIndia Group last September.
