Actor Varun Dhawan invests in biofortified staples brand Better Nutrition

Actor Varun Dhawan has invested in Lucknow-based biofortified food brand Better Nutrition as an investor and brand ambassador.Founded in 2023 by Prateek Rastogi and Aishwarya Bhatnagar, Better Nutrition offers staples such as atta, dal, rice, and millets derived from crops developed to contain higher levels of micronutrients like iron and zinc. The company employs biofortified seeds, soil science, and farm-level testing, including X-ray fluorescence technology, to measure nutrient levels.Dhawan joins existing brand ambassador PV Sindhu as the company intends to expand awareness regarding biofortified food among Indian consumers.
