ADIA picks up 10% in HDFC Capital for Rs.184-Cr
Listed mortgage lender HDFC is to sell a 10% stake in its affordable housing focused Private Equity-Real Estate unit HDFC Capital Advisors to Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) for INR 184 crore. ADIA is also the primary investor (limited partner) in various funds managed by HDFC Capital. Set up in 2016, HDFC Capital is the investment manager to HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Funds 1, 2 & 3 with a total of about USD 3 Billion under management.
