Aerospace-focused contract manufacturer Aequs raises Rs.85-Cr from existing investors
Belagavi, Karnataka-headquartered contract manufacturer Aequs has raised INR 128 crore led by its holding company Aequs Manufacturing Investments Pvt Ltd through a right issue. The round also saw participation from existing investors Amicus Capital, Steadview Capital, Amansa Investments and individual investors.Aequs’ holding infused INR 84.83 crore and Amansa and Amicus Capital invested INR 14.16 crore and INR 12.32 crore respectively.Founded in 2006 by Aravind Melliger, Aequs operates a precision manufacturing platform in aerospace and other verticals.
Between Mar 2023 and Oct 2023, Aequs had attracted about USD 81.36- M from Amansa Capital, Amicus Capital, Catamaran, Steadview Capital and others.For FY24, Aequs had reported about INR 988.30 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 17.30 Cr in Net Loss.
