Aerospace materials maker Val-Met Engg attracts Rs.200-Cr from Nuvama PE
Chennai-based Val-Met Engineering has raised INR 200 crore in its first institutional funding round from Nuvama Private Equity, which acquired a minority stake in the company. Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund made the investment.Val-Met Engineering is a specialised supplier of aerospace and defence materials. The company plans to use the funds to scale its sourcing network, inventory, and technology infrastructure. It also aims to deepen ties with global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers and expand its business regionally and globally, including through potential acquisitions in Europe and partnerships in Southeast Asia.
