Agri-biotech co. Loopworm raises $3.25 M led by WaterBridge Ventures, Enrission India Capital
Bengaluru-based agritech startup Loopworm has raised USD 3.25 million in a Pre-Series A round led by WaterBridge Ventures and Enrission India Capital.Founded in 2019 by Ankit Alok Bagaria and Abhi Gawri, Loopworm is an agri-biotechnology company which claims to convert organic wastes into products promoting health, nourishment & wellbeing for all forms of life. The company is currently focused on producing alternative sustainable protein & fats for shrimp feeds, poultry feeds & pet foods.
In Aug-22, Loopworm had attracted about USD 3.4-M from Omnivore Partners, WaterBridge Ventures, others.For FY24, Loopworm had reported about INR 0.35 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 5.7 Cr in Net Loss.
