Agri-biz lender Samunnati raises Rs.42.5 Cr in Series E from Agri-Biz Capital

Chennai-based agri value chain enabler Samunnati has raised INR 42.5 crore in Series E equity funding from existing investor Agri-Biz Capital Delaware LLC. This equity infusion takes the total Pre-Series E equity raised till date to more than INR 381 crore.Last financial year, the company had raised INR 1,158 crore from USDFC, Credit Saison, Tata Capital, Poonawalla Fincorp, Hinduja Leyland Finance, Wint Wealth, Altifi, Alteria Capital and Anicut Capital.Samunnati operates in over 28 states across India. It claims to have powered over USD 3 Billion of gross transaction value so far, through its access to 6500+ Farmer Collectives with a member base of over 8 million farmers.

Between Feb 2015 and Apr 2025, Samunnati had attracted about USD 168 M from Northern Arc Capital, Blue Earth Capital, Elevar Equity, Impact Investment Exchange, Symbiotics Group, FMO, Accel India, Accel USA, TIAA, TPG Growth and others.For FY24, Samunnati had reported about INR 2,504 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 8 Cr in Net Loss.
