Agri-focused deep-tech startup Impensus Electronics raises Rs 1.6 Cr
Chennai-based Impensus Electronics has raised INR 1.6 crore in a pre-Series A funding round from Keiretsu Forum Chennai and IN44 Capital.Co-founded by Dinesh Narayanan and Guru Vignesh V in 2017 at the IIT Madras Research Park, the company provides deep-tech solutions for the agriculture sector. The firm focuses on reducing post-harvest losses by implementing control systems for biological processes during storage and ripening.The startup plans to use the new capital to scale its post-harvest cold chain technology.
