Agri-tech platform Arya raises raises $29-M from Blue Earth Capital
Noida-based integrated grain commerce platform Arya.ag (promoted by Arya Collateral Warehousing Services Private Limited) has raised USD 29 million (around INR 242 crore) in pre-Series D funding round led by Switzerland-based impact investment firm Blue Earth Capital along with participation from Asia Impact SA and Quona Capital at a INR 2,400 crore valuation.Founded in 2013 by Prasanna Rao, Anand Chandra, and Chattanathan Devarajan, Arya.ag has three verticals - Arya Collateral, Aryadhan, and Aryatech. Arya Collateral offers warehousing storage facilities, which is the core business of the company. It claims to store grains worth around USD 3 billion annually.
Between Dec 2016 and Sep 2021, Arya had raised USD 92 M from Lightrock India, Quona Capital, Asia Impact and Omnivore Partners.For FY23, Arya Collateral had reported INR 290.28 Cr in Operating Income and INR 7.59 Cr in PAT.
