Agri-tech player MapMyCrop bags $1.8 M led by YourNest
New York and Pune-based MapMyCrop has raised INR 15.7 crore (USD 1.8 million) in seed funding led by YourNest Venture Capital, with participation from Eaglewings Ventures. The new funds will be used to expand operations, fulfill pilot orders, strengthen sales and operations teams, and advance technology.The company aims to expand to Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia while strengthening its presence in the USA and Europe, developing solutions that address region-specific agricultural challenges.MapMyCrop uses satellite imagery and artificial intelligence to provide crop monitoring services that help farmers track crops, predict yields and optimise supply chains.
