Agriculture-focused drone player Suind raises Rs 20.5 Cr led by Transition VC Fund

Bengaluru-based Suind has raised INR 20.5 Cr in a fresh funding round led by Transition Venture Capital Fund, with participation from CIIE Initiatives. The firm would issue 5,107 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at INR 40,132.20 per share.Founded in 2020 by Kunal Shrivastava and Kevin Kleber, Suind develops drone solutions for agriculture. Its flagship platform, Bumblebee, uses computer vision and autonomous navigation to assist farmers in crop monitoring, issue detection, and precision spraying.The company plans to use the new funds to expand the application of its drone technology from agriculture into industrial sectors.

In Nov 2023, Suind had attracted about $ 0.60 M from Sunicon Ventures and others.For FY25, Suind had reported about INR 0.11 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2 Cr in Net Loss.
