Agriculture-focused Marut Drones bags $6.2 M in Series A funding from Lok Capital
Hyderabad-based Marut Drones has raised USD 6.2 million in Series A funding from Lok Capital. The company plans to use the funds to develop agricultural drones, expand its channel partner network and service centres in Tier II and Tier III cities, and establish drone agriculture service hubs to provide Drone-as-a-Service through partnerships.Founded in 2019 by Prem Kumar Vislawath, Suraj Peddi and Sai Kumar Chinthala, Marut Drones offers drones for agriculture, logistics, afforestation, mosquito eradication and drone training purposes.
