Agritech firm GROWiT raises $3-M in Series A round led by GVFL

Surat-based agritech firm GROWiT has raised USD 3 million in its Series A round led by GVFL. The round saw participation from Veloce Opportunities Fund, JITO, We Founder Circle, Sunicon Ventures Fund, Progrowth Ventures, and Hyderabad Angels.The new funds will be used to expand its market presence, strengthen its research and development, and enhance its technology infrastructure. It also aims to increase its domestic reach and scale its exports to regions in Africa and other markets.Founded in 2020 by Saurabh Agarwal and Akshay Agarwal, GROWiT offers soil-to-harvest solutions for farmers through its soil health testing devices, mulch films, crop covers, and weed mats. It currently operates across 12 states in India, with over 650 franchise partners and claims to have engaged with more than 225,000 farmers.

In Apr 2022, GrowiT had raised funding from Gaurav Singhvi, Rohan Desai, Vikas Aggarwal and others.
