Mumbai- and San Francisco, CA (USA)-based Human Archive has raised USD 8.2 million in a funding round led by Wing Venture Capital, with participation from nvp capital and Y Combinator.Founded by Rushil Agarwal, Samay Maini, Shloke Patel and Raj Patel, the company operates a robotics data lab. This data is used by robotics labs to train models on how humans perform physical tasks, leveraging a network of more than 1,000 active headsets and additional sensor hardware for multimodal capture.The startup plans to use the funds to collect egocentric video, RGB-D, motion, tactile, and force data from service environments.
