AI infra startup Pipeshift raises $2.5 M led by Y Combinator, SenseAI Ventures

San Francisco (USA)- and Bengaluru-based artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure startup Pipeshift has raised USD 2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Y Combinator and SenseAI Ventures. Other participants in the round include Arka Venture Labs, Good News Ventures, Nivesha Ventures, Astir VC, GradCapital, and MyAsiaVC, alongside Silicon Valley angels such as Kulveer Taggar (CEO of Zues), Umur Cubukcu (founder of Ubicloud), and Krishna Mehra (AI partner at Elevation Capital).The company plans to use the funds to enhance its product offerings and reach product-market fit by the end of this year. The funds will also be used to expand its market presence in the USA and India, as well as for hiring talent.Founded in 2024, Pipeshift’s modular platform-as-a-service (PaaS) allows companies to train, deploy, and scale generative AI models - including large language models (LLMs), vision, audio, and image models - across cloud or on-premises graphics processing units (GPUs).
