AI ops enabler to secure data infrastructure MeshDefend raises $2.3 M led by Kalaari Capital

Bengaluru-based MeshDefend , an artificial intelligence (AI) operating system startup for enterprise data infrastructure, has raised USD 2.3 million in its first funding round. The investment was led by Kalaari Capital, with participation from Kettleborough VC as well as entrepreneurs and chief executives. Founded in 2025 by former Dell executives Tejas Pandit and Ravi Chitloor, MeshDefend has developed a proprietary and trademarked AI-native agentic operating system called Agent Mesh, designed to help large enterprises operate and control their hybrid cloud systems.The company plans to use the new funds to accelerate product development, enhance go-to-market execution, and ensure enterprise-scale infrastructure readiness.
