AI platform for financial services Fundamento raises $1.9 M led by 360 ONE

Delhi-based Fundamento , an agentic AI platform for financial services, has raised USD 1.9 million (around INR 16 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round led by 360 ONE (via IIFL Fintech Fund), with participation from The Players Fund (backed by KL Rahul and Ben Stokes), Venture Catalysts, Lead Invest, Epic Angels, and other angel investors. Founded in 2020 by Ankit Durga, Megha Aggarwal, and Vickram Saigal, Fundamento’s AI-driven platform acts as a strategic engagement layer, enabling financial institutions to streamline lending operations, boost efficiency, and enhance customer experience through smarter, faster, and more personalised borrower journeys.Fundamento plans to use the newly raised capital to enhance its agentic AI build, with a focus on verticalisation in financial services across collections, upselling, and borrower profiling. The company intends to target the USA and Asia Pacific regions, where it sees opportunities in debt collections, digital lending adoption, and financial services innovation.

Between Dec 2021 and Nov 2024, Fundamento had attracted funding from Amrish Rau, Binny Bansal, Kunal Shah, LVX Ventures, AngelList, Lead Angels and others.
