AI startup Profound raises $1.5-M in seed funding
Bengaluru-based Profound has raised USD 1.5-M in seed funding from investors including Stellaris Venture Partners, 3one4 Capital, Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy, Pankaj Chaddah, Harshil Mathur, Kunal Shah, and Bhuvan Gupta.Founded by former Swiggy and Zomato executives Anuj Rathi and Prashant Parashar, Profound provides professionals with an AI-powered representative. The company offers a voice-first platform that develops an understanding of a professional’s experience, working style, and ambitions to identify relevant opportunities and facilitate connections.The startup plans to use the new funds to strengthen its engineering and product teams, expand its artificial intelligence capabilities, and accelerate the development of its matching and introductions engine.
