Alphatron Capital closes $30-M maiden VC fund-of-funds
US-based Alphatron Capital (formerly SMK Ventures) has closed its first fund-of-funds at USD 30 million. The fund will offer US investors exposure to a range of Indian technology and tech-enabled companies, focusing on Enterprise SaaS, Fintech, HealthTech, AI/ML, Digital Content, and Direct-to-consumer sectors.Co-founded by Suresh Vaswani (a former Dell, IBM, and Wipro executive), Alphatron Capital has already invested in 11 Indian venture capital funds (including those of Speciale Invest, Blume Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Epiq Capital and Fireside Ventures) and made 5 co-investments with them.
