Ambulance service provider Dial 4242 raises Rs.1-Cr
Mumbai-based ambulance service provider Dial 4242 has raised INR 1 crore in its seed round led by investors Starfish Ventures, G Vamshi Raju and a clutch of angel investors based in Hyderabad. The proceeds will be used in expanding its presence and enhancing its services. Founded by Jeetu Lalwanim, Dial 4242 is an online platform for booking ambulances in emergencies. The startup claims to have a network spanning over 750 cities and a fleet of 12,000 ambulances to provide emergency medical services within 15 minutes to customers. The firm has partnered with brands including Swiggy and Zomato, and supported their delivery partners with ambulances. It also offers Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) assistance.
