Anicut Capital, Chennai Angels partner for early stage investments
Chennai-based Anicut Capital and The Chennai Angels (TCA) have partnered to facilitate early-stage startup funding through a Category I Alternative Investment Fund structure. The collaboration will enable TCA to put a “single entry” on the investee startup’s cap table (versus many individual angel investors).Founded in 2007, TCA comprises a network of over 150 investors and has invested more than INR 200 crore across 99 startups. Anicut Capital currently manages over INR 4,500 crore in assets across seven funds and has provided backing to more than 200 companies.
