Ankur Capital gets commitments from BII, MacArthur Foundation for third fund
Bengaluru-based venture capital investor Ankur Capital , which backs early-stage startups in agri-tech, climate and deep-tech segments, has raised fresh capital commitments from existing backers British International Investment (BII) and MacArthur Foundation for its third fund.The latest fund, for which the target is INR 1,200 crore (USD 150 million), has already raised capital from US International Development Finance Corporation and Self-Reliant India Fund, an initiative under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.The firm has raised around INR 400 crore for the third fund and plans to close it by early next year.
