Apax sells half its stake in Zensar by selling shares worth Rs.760-Cr, registers 1.77x return

Private Equity firm Apax Partners has sold a 11.41% stake in publicly-listed IT Services firm Zensar Technologies Ltd on Jun 14, 2021 realizing INR 760.04 crore. Post the sale, which was executed through a bulk deal on the NSE, Apax would hold a 11.42% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Oct 2015, Apax Partners had invested INR 859 crore for a 23.20% stake in Zensar Technologies Ltd (by buying out existing investor Electra Partners).
