Aragen Life Sciences files for Rs.800-Cr IPO
Hyderabad-based Aragen Life Sciences has filed its draft red herring prospectus SEBI for an initial public offering. The proposed public issue includes a fresh issue of shares worth INR 800 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 27,329,192 equity shares. Axis Capital, Citigroup Global Markets India, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities, and JM Financial are acting as the book-running lead managers.Incorporated in 2000, Aragen Life Sciences is a contract research, development, and manufacturing organization that provides drug discovery and development solutions for life sciences companies. The company plans to utilize the net proceeds from the fresh issue for the repayment or pre-payment of debt, capital expenditure for purchasing new equipment & machinery and general corporate purposes.The OFS will see participation from promoters and investors including Reddy Investment Trust, Davinder Singh Brar, WSCPVIII (Singapore), WSCPVIII EMP (Singapore), Goldman Sachs Capital Holdings III, and WSCPVIII Parallel Intermediary (Singapore).
Between Nov 2007 and Aug 2025, Aragen Life Sciences had raised about USD 531 M from Quadria, Goldman Sachs, Avendus PE, Others.For FY25, Aragen Life Sciences had reported about INR 1,652 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 250 Cr in PAT.
