Aromatherapy brand Secret Alchemist attracts funds from actor Samantha Prabhu
Mumbai-headquartered D2C (direct-to-consumer) wellness startup Secret Alchemist has roped in actor Samantha Prabhu as an investor and co-founder. The fresh capital raised from her will be used to boost the firm’s marketing efforts, brand presence and expand its customer reach.The startup had earlier raised USD 500,000 in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with additional participation from Pharmeasy founder Siddharth Shah and Plix founder Rishubh Satiya.Founded in 2021 by Ankita Thadani and Akash Valia, Secret Alchemist ( formerly known as 24 Carat Remedies) is an aromatherapy-based wellness brand that offers a range of products centred around essential oils and holistic well being.
