Ascent Capital sells Radiant Cash Mgmt shares worth Rs.71.40 Cr; registers 5x return

Ascent Capital (via Ascent India Fund III) has sold 6,764,954 equity shares (6.34% stake) at INR 105.55 per share of publicly-listed Radiant Cash Management Services, realizing INR 71.40 crore (representing about 5x return). Post the sale, the investor holds 12,530,000 equity shares (11.74% stake) in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jan 2015, Ascent Capital had invested INR 80 Cr in Radiant Cash. In the public issue, Ascent sold 14,735,575 equity shares at INR 95.48 per share, realizing INR 140.70 Cr. Post IPO, Ascent Capital held 18.08% (19,294,954 equity shares).
