Asian cuisine brand Master Chow raises $6.5 M from Tanglin, Peak XV’s Surge, others

Delhi-based Asian cuisine player Master Chow has raised USD 6.5 million in its Series A round led by Singapore-based Tanglin Venture Partners. The funding round also saw participation from Peak XV Partners’ Surge, Anicut Capital and existing investor WEH Ventures. Master Chow plans to use the fresh capital to launch new products and expand its offline presence.Founded in 2020 by Sidharth Madan and Vidur Kataria, Master Chow is a ready-to-cook brand that offers a range of premium Asian pantry staples like noodles, stir fry sauces and dips.The fresh funding comes a year after Master Chow raised USD 3.2 million in its pre-Series A round from Surge and others. Earlier, in 2022, Master Chow had raised USD 1.2 million in a funding round led by Anicut. WEH Ventures, Fluid Ventures, and a few angel investors.
