Asset pooling co. Leap India raises Rs.371-Cr in pre-IPO round from GIC arm, others

Mumbai-based Leap India has raised INR 371.3 crore in a pre-IPO placement round. The transaction saw participation from Singapore-based GIC subsidiary Gamnat Pte Ltd, Dymon Asia Multi-Strategy Investment (Singapore), and Matyas Possessiones, a firm in which the company's promoter Sunu Mathew holds a 99% stake. The funds from this pre-IPO placement were raised through the private placement of 23,351,100 equity shares at INR 159 per share.The company’s INR 2,480 crore IPO has a price band of INR 151-159 per share. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of INR 480 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of INR 2,000 crore.Established in 2013 by Sunu Mathew, the company provides asset pooling solutions, enabling businesses to rent reusable pallets, crates, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), and related logistics equipment.

Between Dec 2014 and Dec 2024, Leap India had attracted about $ 338 M from FirstBridgeFund, KKR, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, Niveshaay, Sixth Sense Ventures and others.For FY25, Leap India had reported about INR 378 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 40 Cr in PAT.
