Assistive technology startup Social Hardware raises Rs.3.2 Cr led by IPV
Bengaluru-headquartered Social Hardware , an inclusive innovation startup that designs and develops assistive devices, bionics, and field robotics, has raised INR 3.2 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Ivy League Ventures and Soonicorn Ventures.Social Hardware was co-founded by Abhit Kumar (CEO), Cameron Norris, and Raghavendran Arunachalam. The firm specialises in teleoperated robotic systems designed for hazardous operations. The company serves manufacturing, infrastructure, defence, and aerospace industries, delivering solutions that enhance safety and operational efficiency in challenging environments.The fresh funds will be used for growth, to promote go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, to hire marketing and sales teams, to establish an R&D facility and to expand in-house manufacturing capabilities.
