Athulya Senior Care looks to raise $30-M, launch geriatric hospital
Chennai-based Athulya Senior Care looks to raise USD 30 million from global institutional investors such as sovereign funds. In 2023, the company raised INR 100 crore from a Morgan Stanley-managed private equity fund.Founded in 2016 by Karthik Narayan, Srinivasan G, and J Krishna Kavya, the company provides assisted living and home care services for senior citizens. Athulya plans to use the proceeds from the upcoming funding round to expand its capacity from 1,500 to 3,500 assisted living beds and increase its hospital footprint from one to 10 facilities. It is set to launch its own integrated geriatric care hospital in Chennai.The company reported revenue of INR 85 crore in FY26 and projects an increase to INR 125 crore in FY27.
